Luxor Archaeology Museum
holds a fine collection of artefacts beautifully displayed, some pieces that you would expect to see, like Tutankhamen are now in the Grand Museum in Cairo, but what remains are some items of rare and unusual beauty. I recommend at least an hour here to enjoy many of the pieces at leisure.
No tour of Luxor is complete without a visit to the museum!
The Mummification Museum houses some interesting items associated with the art and practice of mummification includes some things that you would not expect to find!
It is a small museum but is worth some minutes of your time and is just a short walk from the main museum.
Look for the crocodile and the ram with gold leaf head!
Howard Carter House
is another essential part of your tour, located on the West Bank on the way to the Valley of The Kings, as the name suggests it is where he stayed while excavating and discovering the tomb of Tutankhamen. There us also a reproduction of Tut’s tomb for you to visit.
